About Me

Name: Oskar Helmer Fuhlrott.   Third child of four. Father died 1984, mother 2005 (nearly 91 years old). One brother, two sisters.
Born:24 Jul 1942 in Hamburg / Germany.   Grown up south of Hamburg.
School: Starting 1949. High school degree (Abitur) 1962.
University: National economics (Volkswirtschaftslehre) since 1962 (Munich and Hamburg universities). Diploma Hamburg, 1968.
Computer science (Informatik) since 1975 (Hamburg university). Diploma Hamburg, 1987.
Profession: All the time working in the software market. Employed: 1969. Self employed: Since 1970 (partially in parallel to my second study). Some European Union financed projects with scientific goals, as a subcontractor - years ago.
Most of the time commercial stuff.
Genealogy: Only as a hobby. I did no genealogic research on my own. I was lucky to inherit a rich family archive collected by my father, Dr. Engelbert Fuhlrott †.
But as you see here: It combines well with web programming skills. So I have put the data into some hypertext pretty printing and added some JavaScript gimmicks.
